The scheme is designed to enable youths and farmers across Nigeria to be awarded seed money to help them accomplish their business pursuits.

To participate, agric entrepreneurs will employ the use of social media as means of application as well as the Leventis Foundation’s website portal, where they can upload their business plan. The competition runs from August to early October 2018.

The Executive Director, Dr. Hope Usieta, in a statement, said the agribusiness pitch is one of activities designed to celebrate Leventis Foundation’s 30th anniversary and its commitment towards enhancing livelihoods.

He added that the winners would be announced later in October and awarded in an exclusive Gala Dinner event to wrap up the celebrations.
