Farmers in Abia Central Senatorial District, Abia State, recently got a major support to boost their productivity with the receipt of 1,000 cans of modern fertilizer from Senator Theodore Orji, representing the zone.
Media Assistant to the Senator, Don Obinna, who disclosed this in Lagos said the gesture was in line with the Senator’s philosophy of eradicating poverty, hunger and child/mortality rates in his Senatorial Zone.
Beyond the provision of fertilizer, the Senator, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on agriculture has provided motorised boreholes in some of the constituencies to enhance agriculture.
